Water Wedding is a unique wedding custom of the "fishermen in nine surnames" who have lived on the Xin'an River for a long time. Composed of nine links, the water wedding is complex and grand, with unique fisherman's characteristics at the same time. Today, this folk custom has already changed from a poor family marriage custom to a unique local folk performance project. It has become a part of the characteristic tourism culture of "Nine Surnamed Fishermen" on the Xin'an River.
